24 More

The television show "24" kicked off another new season last night. Here are a few observations from the two hour season premiere.

*Jack Bauer can borrow the line from the Godfather movie, "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in", as the show opens with the, now grandfather and retired Federal agent, seeking to travel back to California for a private security job by day and time with his daughter's family by night only to discover that he is the only man who can save the world yet again.

**This season there is going to be a battle between saving the world old style, and a tech-savvy wave of newbie agents who have all the latest toys and know how to use them, but lack the common sense and intestinal fortitude to stand up to their bureaucrat boss who is intent on declaring the told after the first of twenty four hours.

***Freddy Prinze Jr. (Chico's kid) is destined to be a Jack Bauer clone.

****The blonde newspaper reporter may not be in on the assassination attempt, but she is not to be trusted either.

*****Elisha Cuthbert (Jack's daughter Kim) is a painfully poor actor.
